I like to think that I started on my own, building my skills by studying other photographers and photographing as much as possible although, I owe a lot to my family for giving me my first camera and, my friends and instructors for giving me the guidance I needed to push myself in the right direction... for that I am forever thankful. I have always been the "artsy fartsy" kind of individual but never foresaw photography in my future, only a interest at first, I took my first class in high school and I haven't put the camera down since, I knew this was for me! I started photographing seniors and the journey took off from there, now I am a wedding and portrait photographer among a world traveler and seeker of light. I fell in love with not just a camera and all the fancy gadgets but the connections I made with my clients and the ability to show them a new light as I strive to better myself and my clients! It is not just about getting the photo but the experience the adventure of it all. I will never stop photographing... its hard to think of myself doing anything other than some form of photography related activity and of course I have other interests and hobbies, but this is something I have dedicated my life to now. I do love to travel though when I have the time! I have this philosophy that if you do what you love then the rest will follow and that has taught me to be kind and patient, to dream big and be passionate about what I do, and to believe in myself.
I am also a lover of coffee and I can talk all day but lets grab a coffee and chat about photography and life!
